Personal Profile

I have continually strived to better myself as sports journalist in the past few years. Since I set my sights on becoming a broadcaster, I have done everything I can to put myself in a position to succeed. My goal now is be the best journalist I can be; all while working for a company that wants to help me progress my career just as much as I want to help it grow as a news source.

You can find a list of my professional work experience and education below. I believe each position has played an instrumental role in my journey as a multimedia journalist. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me directly.

Tombstone High School Football Coach

I worked as a broadcast intern with the Varsity Sports Show in Phoenix, AZ. With this organization, I did a variety of different jobs, including writing articles, creating broadcast videos, color commentary and play by play for high school sports games, and camera work.

I began my professional program at Arizona State University with Cronkite News in August 2021. In my time with Cronkite News, I have learned the inner workings of a newsroom; including how to pitch ideas, work in the field, and conduct meaningful interviews. In addition, I have gained anchoring experience by hosting the company's Facebook Live show Cronkite Sports Now.

In my time as an NFL journalist intern with The Game Haus, I have written over 100 SEO-friendly published articles. Each piece gives accurate information and insight on breaking or interesting NFL news. As of June 2020, I have collected approximately 59,000 views for my published articles.

Throughout the course of coaching, I met regularly with coaches to develop game plans and study opponents’ films. This supplied me with an elite knowledge of the game of football how it works from a coach’s perspective.
